They Came, They Fished, They Won...Prizes!

Saturday, May 7th was the 3rd year we had a Youth Fishing Derby and the
response was outstanding! Lots of fresh young faces (and some older ones, too)
came down to do some fishing and walk away with a little something to show for it.

If you couldn't be there for the Fishing Derby, then make plans to come down to
Youth Day on Saturday June 11th (Rain date June 12th). There'll be plenty
of activities including fly casting, bait casting, traditional archery,
bb handgun target shooting and .22 rifle target shooting*

*Parental permission required. Must be accompanied by an adult.

It's a day where the next generation of sportspeople
learn safety, responsibility, technique...and FUN.

Here's some snapshots from the 2005 Fishing Derby
